With Blade postponed (again) and multiple films underperforming post-pandemic, it seems like Patti LuPone is the only thing keeping the MCU afloat right now (never thought you’d read those words, didja?). So it’s no surprise that an update about one of its most successful properties is coming out. Below, find all the information we know about Spider-Man 4, still starring Tom Holland, including release date and cast.

Okay … so Tom Holland is back?

Yes, Tom Holland is back. The man, whose 2024 is notable mostly because he started a nonalcoholic beer called Bero, will still be playing the teen. Luckily, even Peter Parker can still drink a refreshing can of Bero.

Who else is in the cast?

We don’t know yet! No casting beyond Holland is confirmed for Spider-Man 4, and, even if it were, confirmed casting before a Spider-Man comes out is famously not the only casting that can end up in a Spider-Man movie. We do know that Destin Daniel Cretton (Shang-Chi and the Legend of the Ten Rings) will direct, however.

When is the release date?

Spider-Man 4 is slated to come out on July 24, 2026. It will likely film in 2025, which makes that quite a year for the beer salesman. Per THR, he’s also going to film the new Christopher Nolan movie and, though it’s not confirmed, is likely to appear in Avengers: Doomsday. We just hope he’s started practicing the art of not giving up information on press tours, because he has a lot of them coming up.
